Mei's first prb sums:) & Progress

 

Mei Mei's first problem sum questions- guided, of course!
I read out and explained the questions to her and she solved the questions. Was quite surprised that they have problem sums at this age, but its good to learn early, anyway, as long as she don't feel stress...

I asked her to write the letters: apples and she said she don't know how to spell and drew an apple instead... haha!
For the 2nd question, i thought that she will want to draw a flower too, but she said she don't know how to draw a flower and copied out the word instead.... haha...

Now, Mei Mei can spell and write her name all by herself and  she is very observant and can remember the words that she had learn in school or came across... She can now spell simple words like Car, Cat, dog, etc etc... If she forgets, she will ask me: "mummy, i don't know how to say car...." haha... so, i always have to correct her and say: "do you mean spell the word, car?"

She is able to distinguish how to use the words we, us, ours, theirs etc etc... and  i am now slowly teaching her how to use is, are, was, were correctly...
