Mei Mei's learning progress

Mei Mei can match and knows all the shapes and colors very well, and can count 1-10 very well. She is still not so familiar with 11-20 and is still in the learning stage. She is beginning to learn simple addition and substraction and although just started, its seems that she is quite a fast learner and is able to understand the terms of addition and subtraction and knows where to put (+,- and =), when asked. Baby can work on simple questions by herself after being taught once/twice (must have pictures for the sums). She is able to recognize the alphabets, although she tends to mix up some, like b and d... She is still learning how to trace and write the alphabets, but noticed that she can write more difficult words and letters like B and 3 or 8 better now.... She knows what letters are in her name Kate Yeow, althought she doesn't know how to put them in sequence, she knows that for example, her name has a K and E and Y etc etc... So if she saw the letter O, she will shut: "my name got O!" Tomorrow Tomorrow, i will start to teach her how to write her name:) :) Mei Mei is still very vocal, now both English and Chinese... Not sure if she is still very fluent in her Hokkien though.... But her language skills never fail to surprise me:) :) she will surprise you with words that you never thought that a 3.5 yr old would know.

In the Rain

Raining heavily and i did not have an umbrella with me yesterday, so have to called home and ask the boys to fetch me an umbrella.... Saw my poor Kayden boy in the super heavy rain, and he has to walk quite a distance from our home to the bus stand, but not a single grumble from him, although he sounded rather sians over the phone :):) i remembered talking to him on a Saturday couple of weeks ago and he told me that he knows that i care for him alot... Still a little boy in my heart...

My special birthday cake and mini celebration

We went to JP and the kids decorate a special birthday cake for me.... The decor of the cake was rather messy, but colorful and the kids enjoyed themselves, except for Kayden, i think he is growing up, so not so interested in certain things... he said he prefers to decor one small cake by himself, instead of with his younger bro and sis, but we won't be able to finish 3 small cakes!! So we just have to disappoint him, and still choose a medium size cake. Then we head down to a nice Mac'donald cafe nearby and have a nice and really relaxed dinner, and the kids even sang a birthday song for me...
Coffee cup that is as Big as our face:)

Off to see Barney!

Brought Baby to watch Barney show:) The show was much nicer as compared to the last time i watch with Kayden and Brice when they were younger. Barney was quite boring then.... Now, the show is livelier and baby really enjoys the show....
