Kate's growing up journey

Kate's first mini Ballet dance performance:) So cute:)

And her first written compo tested by me. I found a picture from google and ask her to write a compo based on the pictures.
She spent about 15 mins writing the compo. For her age, i feel the compo was rather well written, 2 spelling mistakes, a couple of missing capital letters and comms. Great job, baby!

Korea Trip 2014

Korea trip with tour agency with family, so that my mum do not need to walk so much...

We had a great fun together travelling as a family. Of cos, travelling can be quite a tiring with kids and parents tagged along, but while we have minimum disagreements, fun overtakes everything. I love my family.

After talking to someone today, i realise that humans can be so self-centred at times. No matter how much you do, its never enough... While that person keep thinking of how much the other person had contributed or helped, why didn't that person think of what had been contributed/ given by ownself, with heart and love to our dearest.

Mum had a great time, but too bad Dad cannot join us due to work...

First pic in Korea at a telephone booth... haha!!

Mum loves taking pictures and she choose this place for photo taking and it turns out fantastic!

Ice table in an icy cave!

Mum kept asking Kayden to have 2 bowls of rice at each meal.... Hubby and myself were like... gosh! too fattening! But well, its the love from grandma... Scared he hungry mah... lol...

Its Free and easy time as we reach the hotel early... Brice and Mei stayed in the hotel due to the cold weather while mum had fallen asleep... so the 3 of us came out in the cold, in search of fried chicken with beer (with coke for Kayen)! hahaha!!!
We just went into a restaurant and "tara" !!! Yummy and Juicy Chicken from Jeju ! Its seriously nice, Hub and I keep saying its the juiciest chicken we ever tasted:)

Our bonding time after a day of fun. Always remembered this day as i really enjoyed being together with my family, and esp this day. We bought beers, milk, strawberries, apples, tibits and had a short but happy time before going to bed.

We do what people who go Korea does: Eat fresh seafood, BBQ, make Kimchi, Wear hankook costumes, bread making, etc etc... :

Lots of seafood!! And Hub and Brice tried the live octopus.

Onboard Eland Cruise

Ice-Cream in Lotte world, so cute!
Mountain in Jeju, and just below the mountain, there is a few aunties ("Hai Nu" of Jeju, who swims into the cold water to pick up fresh abalones), who sell fresh abalones, and other fresh sea food... Must Try!

Fresh abalone in Jeju sold by the aunties

look behind me!

Bought this cute hankook for my little princess. quite ex, about hundred sin dollar, but really super nice and real Hankook. When she tried it on and walked out, i cannot say "NO" as its really really too pretty...

Part of my baby's growing up and noting down things about my baby that impresses me, so that i will not forget about it as time goes by...

My little princess is already having a Maths tution class, Abacus class, Art, ballet and piano classes every week and just this week, she told me that she wants to learn more about English and asked me to enroll her for English class!

Actually our weekends are packed with all her tutions and i do not know how to add more... Nonetheless, I am so impressed with her interest in learning and always so keen to learn more things.

Gold Coast 2013 (Belated post!)

Realised that I had not blogged for a long time... 2 years?!
I do not know where to start, so i guess i will start from our trip in 2013 to Gold Coast.
We choose the place because of the Beach, Sun and theme parks and thought that it is very suitable for our teenage kids and also our little princess. :)

We stayed in Xanadu Holiday Resort and it really suits our needs. Near the beach, cafes and the fridge, utensils, and microwave were very useful as we are one hungry family and bought alot of food from supermarket everyday and had supper every night... hahaha...

There's also a washing machine and we washes our own clothes so that we can travel lighter and do not need to bring so many clothes for our trip.

Day 1:
The car rental shop arranged a bus to pick us up from the airport to the car rental shop to pick up our car that will accompany us for the next 10 days.
Waiting for the bus...

Checked in our hotel very quickly and with our rented car, we began our journey! :) Its so fun!

Stopped to take a pic while hubby was checking the directions to bring us for dinner.

Our dinner was Vietnamese meal @ a nearby mall
View from our hotel room... cool!

Day 2

Woke up to a wonderful day view from our hotel.

GoldCoast Fisherman where seafood were so fresh and cheap!

Huge and Yummy Prawns, so much that we cannot finish... Keke...

Had our lunch @ Mac before heading to Seaworld. Their mac have macaroons.. hoho...

Seaworld is just nearby the Fisherman wharft

The only game in Seaworld that the boys were interested in...

Day 3
The kids had been bugging to go for a swim at the beach since day 1....
Today they finally get to enjoy the Sun, Beach and Sand!

After the swim, we drove to surfers paradise for dinner. After walking on the street for some time, we decided to settle our dinner @ Hard Rock Cafe

Day 4
We had breakfast at our fave cafe just next to the hotel. Yummy Yummy::)
After breakfast, we bring the kids to Paradise farm.

Watching the entertaining sheep show. Fur being removed from the sheep.

Digging for Opals in Paradise Country. Fun activity for the kids. Its a very short activity though... about 5~ 10mins per person.

Having Cowboy's tea

Day 5
We wanted to go to Pacific Fair shopping centre and on our way there, we chanced upon another open air fair. Thus, decided to stop-by and have a look. Its what i loved about Free & Easy tour, we can stop-by any interesting places and travel at our own pace:)
My precious's fave game... She's so excited to see this game there!

Weather super hot as we went in Dec...

After shopping, we drove back to surfers paradise. Nice sunset view!

At Beach front market.

Day 6
Today is a long ride to Mount Tamborine. We thought that it will be cooler in the mountains, but to our dismay, it was very warm! :(

We had lunch @ Cedar Creek Estate Vineyard & Winery. Food was pretty nice and we opted for a table outside and surprisingly, it was more cooling than the other parts of the mountain.

I am not hungry, so only share this with my gal...

Cannot remember this place, but still within the mountain. we walked down to the waterfall and found some youngsters having picnic and swim

Day 7
Day 7 is a specially for me... :) shopping!
We drove to Harbour Town outlet and below were our buys! Things weren't as cheap as i expected them to be, but there were still some good buys, like Adidas, which i bought some jackets for less than 50 bucks.

Day 8

We spent our day at Dream World. Noted that alot of cafes were closed and the place did not seem to be as fun as it used to be when i was there few years ago.

There are alot of kiddy rides for my little gal...

Day 9 & 10
There is no fixed itinerary for our last 2 days in Gold Coast and we spent our days swimming and shopping at Surfers Paradise.

A restaurant selling 1 LTR beer:) hahaha....

Drinking at the beach... so cool!
