Baby surprises me today, when she told me that she is now 2 years old.
I asked her: what is your name? And she answered, Ying Xuan! So i thought that i should also teach her to say that she is 2 years old.
I asked: how old are you? And i was waiting to tell her, her age if she doesn't answer me. Surprisingly, she answered: 2 years old!!
Wow, I'm really proud of my little gal gal :)
Baby is progressing well in her speech and she can communicate with us very well. Try asking for her name in different languages and she will say her replies in a differnt tone.
To the maid, she will also try to speak to her in English and sometimes Malay, as my mum speaks to the maid in Malay. Of coz, the maid won't understand what she is saying, except for "da bulay tahan!" hahahaha.....
Gal can now count by herself, 1-10 but i am still trying to help her to memorise her ABCs as well.
Baby is still not toilet trained as i haven't been training her actually. Think its time to do so! Haha... Gal gal is learning to wear her clothes on her own now, but she will still needs my help with it. She is beginning to like milk again, but i still have to spoon feed her from the cup.
Baby knows her likes and wants already and is beginning to request for things from us.
She loves bags and shoes like mummy and whenever i walk into a shoe shop, she will want to buy a shoe as well. She will take off her shoe and wants me to let her try those shoes as well.
Today i past by a shop and thought of getting her an apron so that she can wear when she is doing colourings. There are so many designs to choose from, and i thought the one with the kitty is prettier. Before making payment, i asked if she prefers another. She told me:" i want the one with the pooh... "
Baby won't be going to the childcare afterall, she is very shy and we thought that it will take her a really long time to get used to the new faces in the school. We registered her with a neighbourhood PAP near ah ma's place. She had been to the PAP with ah ma, and kept telling all of us that she will soon be going to school! Hope she can cope well in the school... :)
