Kota Kinabalu part II

Nice sea view from my bro's room

Thought that dad looks kinda cute sitting by the window, so i snapped a picture:)
Grandma and mum join in as well...

Hubby and I brought gal for a stroll by the seaside, and we chanced upon a stretch of resturants and pubs just by the sea. Beautiful place, should have come here earlier. Too bad the boys didn't join, as they thought that i am going on a boring shopping spree again...

Sunset by the sea.... The setting sun and clouds make the sky very captivating;)

Wedding banquet @ KK

Dressed up little baby like a princess. She took out her hairband halfway through the dinner:(

At KK airport... Heading home!!!
This holiday isn't one of the best, But spending time with family is always filled with sweet memories and unexpected experiences. My boys are growing up, so i hope that we will be able to spend more time with them, before they grow older and starts to have their own activities...

Holiday to Kota Kinabaru

The trip wasn't as fun as expected. Though we stayed by the sea, there isn't a beach infront of the Hotel, so we have to fetch a taxi if we need to go to the beach... The hotel was rather dated and the room we stayed in is VERY noisy at night. I thought that the walls must be very thin... We stayed in a suite room, but surprisingly, the suite room is located on a VERY low floor- 3rd storey, and there is a disco on the 1st floor... So I can hear the thumping sounds and even the songs from the disco. On most nights, i can't get to sleep... just like tonight...

Weather was HOT and not much shopping here. We always travelled on our own and i think we are very used to travelling by ourselves. Its our first trip with my parents and grandma... At times, with the elders breathing down our necks throughout the trip can be quite frustrating...:( To make things worst, my gal fall sick, so just like our Phuket trip, i can't travel around as well... Have a hard time trying to take care of her. Her fever shot up to 39degrees, and have to rush her to a clinic halfway through dinner. :( :(

Nevertheless, we did have our fair share of fun. My sister in-law shows us around, brought us to the beach and introduce food stalls with nice seafood and dim sum to us, despite her busy schedule. Food was really quite nice, and gal also liked the food. She hasn't been eating much, but finished one bowl of porridge from the dim sum stall. Haha... We also steal time to go out with the kids on our own and explored the nearby malls... Tomorrow we are going to the sea front for coffee.... Hope gal will feel better tomorrow....

Reach KK airport on the first day. Gal brought along her own luggage:)

Having a little fun at the lobby

View from the Hotel room window... Not much of a view, we were given a room on the 3rd floor... So disappointing :(

A lovely moment to remember:) Hubby feeding Mei Mei by the beach...

Gal playing after her meal. I let her wear my slipper in case she steps on glass...

The kids building sand castle together:)
