We requested for a birthday cake, to celebrate Kayden's birthday which was just a week away:) The cake came at the wrong timing, as we were just back from a heavy dinner. So, kids weren't very excited with the surprise cake, except Mei Mei

As its CNY, there were special Chinese menu for dinner buffet and entertainers playing music for the diners...

Dinner was quite nice and glad that my folks liked the food.

We brought the kids to the tots room, since they can't sleep... Baby loved the slide.

While waiting for the doctor, gal gal and Brice sat down quietly.

Gal seems to have forgotten the doc who always gave her the jab, and wasn't scared when she saw doctor this time. But she cried non-stop after the jab. I had a hard time trying to soothe her. Poor baby... Hate to bring her for jabs, but there's 4 more jabs to go! Arrgh....

We are Friends of Zoo!

We brought the kids to the Zoo and we're now the Friends of Zoo as well, so that we can bring the kids to the Zoo more often.

The kids had an enjoyable day at the Zoo, esp. at the pool. We missed seeing some animals due to the rain, and Brice was rather disappointed, but we promise him that we'll be back again soon:)

Mei Mei also loved watching the animals, esp. the squirrels and monkeys, jumping around. My mum also realize that gal gal was still feeling happy, even when she's back at home!

Have to thank hubby, cos he's carrying her and showing her all the animals all the time!

City Sq Mall

We went to City Sq Mall and had lots of fun at the playground. It was not so crowded the last time we went there, but this week, its quite crowded, and not as relaxing. Its quite tiring to bring kids out to crowded places.

Mei Mei's progress @ 21mths, 9 days

Mei Mei can now speak in complete sentences and can communicate with us without any difficulty. She is still more fluent in Hokkien and Mandarin and speaks very little English. Gal is still not able to speak in sentences in English. So far, she can only say "I Want, I Don't Want, Come, Go away, Yes, No, Naughty, You, me, puppy, dog, cat, rabbit, monkey, spoon, swimming, etc.. "

Gal is able to tell us if she is Happy or Angry, hungry or full (sometimes not real!), or if she is thirsty.:) Baby is also learning to count 1-10, and sometimes she can count all by herself. She is trying to learn A-Z now. We do not want to rush her, but will still try to teach her whenever we can, as my grandma told us that she has got a very good memory.

I am rather amazed at the way she holds a pen. Instead of grabbing a pen like what my little rascals did when they were younger, she holds a pen just like all of us. I am still looking around for a suitable book for her to learn how to draw lines and circles, to improve her motor skills.

Darling still doesn't like to tie her hair, but I will continue to persuade her, haha....

Bought this matching hairband and pen for darling, now we bring these 2 items along whenever we go out. The pen can keep her entertained for a while, so that we can take our orders.

Kayden's Birthday

Losing over 200 pics from my SD card made me rather upset for the past month.

Its my Dad's first visit to the Hotel and i lost all the Happy memories taken down...

We celebrated Kayden's Birthday on the last day of Lunar CNY, Kayden wanted a BBQ and Spiderman cake:).After the BBQ, we had a mini "Lou Hei", to mark the end of CNY 2010.
