Phuket Trip, Part II - the sun and fun!

Our fun starts after sun set. After our afternoon shopping at the malls, we head to the night market and we happened to chance upon a street full of pubs! The kids were very amazed and abit shocked at the sight of the pub goers drinking and dancing away and there are also people carrying huge iguanas walking around... As the massage parlours opened till very late, we went for our foot massage every night, the boys had a really relaxing time and enjoyed having their tiny feets been massaged after a long walk :P Massage is cheap there, only about S$ 10 for a 1 hr long thai massage or foot massage.. value for $$!

But Phuket is rather commericialise, so food and other stuff are at a much higher cost as compared to Bangkok. Bargaining is the trick:0

The boys sporting their new transformers T-shirt, with their fav transformer characters ... :)

Almost all our trips were by Tutu, as the kids (including mei mei) loved riding in a tutu!!
They will make alot of noise, and clap their hands throughout the whole trip... The driver must have thought that we're crazy.. Hahaha..

Downside: Tutu and taxi trips are rather costly in Phuket. At least 200 - 400 baht, for a short trip...

Mei Mei is now more willing to take pictures and if she's in a better moodz, she will sport a smile when you say: "smile"!

My new sarong bought there, loved it!!

The boys enjoy the beach alot!

The beach at Phuket during sunset is really beautiful and captivating...

Art work by Kayden and Brice... It reads: Mummy, Daddy, Kayden, Brice, Mei Mei

Check out their darkened complexion!

A dip in the hotel pool after fun at the beach...

Phuket Trip - Part I, in the hotel

This turns out to be our most tiring trip, though there are also of cos enjoyable and memorable moments. Mei Mei wasn't feeling very well and had just recovered, so we already had second thoughts about going ahead with the trip. Just a day before the trip, the gov. announced that school going kids have to be quarantined at home for 7 days after they were back from hol and can't go back to school! Of course, this dampen our moods to go on with the trip.
Nevertheless, we went in the end and it wasn't all smooth, due to the super duper hot weather and worried that gal might fall sick again, gal and I stayed in the hotel during the afternoon and go out only in the late afternoon. We even brought our own slow cooker and rice to cook for her! Ha!
First Nite upon reaching the hotel.
The room was pretty nice and neat:) And just comfortable for the 5 of us...

The hotel provides kids' club for the kids, with staff to help look after the kids, and plan fun programmes for the kids to play. There are art & craft, ball games, water games etc...The kids enjoyed themselves alot at the club and kept wanting to go back!!
Mei Mei had learnt how to kick the water when you say "Kick!" She's a water baby.
Kayden and hubby enjoying themselves in the pool. The pool provides ball and net as well for the kids to play.

Kayden and his new friend. Not sure what they are playing, but they seems to be having lots of fun!

Mei Mei with her fav toy in the club, the penguin! She can play with it for a long time...

Brice is stucked to the games and decided not to join the rest for a dip in the pool. He's really a gamer!

Boys' First Mossaic Art!

Kayden and Brice had Mossaic Art last Thursday in school. Its their first try and i think both of them had done a very great job and I feel so proud of them:) The boys are also very happy with their work and very protective of their "babies"... Haha...

Boys: Mummy will love anything you make:)

As its done wholly by the boys themselves, so I can really tell whom the art piece belongs to, just from the designs, as well as the colours choosen.

I have always wanted to let them have a try of this art, but its quite pricey to learn from the Art schools. :( Glad that the student care centre had organize this course at a subsidized rate:P

Kayden's fav color is white and his is a simple, white candle holder. Simple and nice.
Great job, son!

Brice loves colors, bright colors, esp Red.
So he chooses alot of colors for his art piece.
It is nicely decorated, with a nice touch of colors.
Well done!

Gal's sick!

We went to Changi Village for our dinner on Saturday and gal fall sick fter that... Poor baby... Should be due to the weather and also the hawker centre is too hot... Baby had also been refusing to take more fluids, haiz...

We had to postphone our trip to Wednesday nite instead of Tuesday morning and we had to fork out an additional 1K... :( But it still beats missing the whole trip after all...
